In the editing of the music video, we have realised that one of the elements from the shoot day does not fit in with the rest of the video so we have had to remove the element entirely. The element in question is the shots from the behind the scenes of the photography shoot. The contrast of colours between the two don’t sync well at all with the massive juxtaposition between the black and white background, on the test shoot, the colour shift worked, most likely due to them being small cut away shots that were featured pretty much only in the opening. The only course of action that is feasible is to create two cuts, one of them as just a performance video, and the other one that incorporates the other element, this will allow the group to decide on which cut they like better and so that we don’t completely discount the idea of the photoshoot.
