I used some of the conventions of making an album cover, for example, the light blue colours would indicate either sadness or serenity which are some of the key features of the genre of indie rock. On the front side of the album cover, there is a signature of the artist, this aids in making the album feel more personal to the listener as it shows a personal thing that the artist is sharing with the audience, this is due to signatures being used on paintings as an indicator of the painter. On the front as well, the photo is of the artist that the album is for, the artist has a white frame around them to give the album a minimalist styling, it also emphasises the idea of sadness as it shows the artist as trapped. On the back side of the album, there is a barcode, the barcode is to plant the concept artwork in reality as most album artwork contains it.
