For the four set designs that we need to make, we have decided to simplify common sets that would be associated with the genre that we are portraying with the sets
Music video
stick to a common theme that is seen within modern music videos which is bright colourful lights and maybe mirrors as seen within the fashion walkway scene in the neon demon
Game Show
A common layout is the podiums with people behind them and two podiums in the middle and instead of having a board to show the scores, do it in graphics that we can make in after effects, make it similar to shows like a league of their own and family feud
Chat Show
The stereotypical set of two sofas and a table, put them in front of a green screen and add a city scape behind them as that is the typical set make it similar to shows like Jimmy Fallon and Jonathan Ross
Behind the scenes photography shoot
Have someone taking the photos of the band with them posing and the lead singer lip syncing while having the photos taken, make it similar to a keeping up with the Kardashians

ReplyDeleteGood to see as sense that you are pulling together a cast and designing the sets. However, form what can be seen on your blog, this is a pretty poor return for a week's work with your group. I think you and your group have held rehearsals, completed set designs, timelines and more - but none of this is on the blog where the examiner will mark it! Please update on these points so that you will get the credit you deserve when your research and planning is assessed. Good luck Phil
